The Story Behind "Though I Walk" - A Religious Art Showpiece

"Though I walk" is a piece of artwork that is deeply rooted in my personal beliefs and values. Inspired by the famous verse in Psalms 23:4, this piece captures the hope and comfort that I find in this powerful scripture.

Despite the imagery being a bit dark, the verse always uplifted me, and I wanted to bring that very same spirit to life in my artwork. The figure in the painting is intentionally unassuming, walking steadfast through the valley, but with a sense of peace and confidence that comes from knowing that God is with him.

Through this piece, I wanted to convey a message of hope, courage, and faith in the face of adversity. It is a reminder that no matter what we go through in life, we are never alone, and our faith can carry us through even the darkest of times.

You can see this piece, as well as a number of other beautiful works at the Ice House Gallery as part of the Religious Art Show. It will be viewable from March 22nd to April 7th, located in the Regions Bank Lobby in Mayfield, KY.
