I have drawn and painted a number of birds over the years; I enjoy their bright colors and quirkiness. This piece was created after a vacation with some dear friends. I tried to capture each of our personalities - I am the “cheeky” one on the right.

This piece was a 2nd place winner of the “Critters” art show, hosted by the Icehouse Gallery in Mayfield, Kentucky.
